VIN Inspection Programs: Building and Maintaining a High-Quality State Program

A VIN inspection is only effective if it goes beyond a cursory glance. These short, one-on-one meetings take place between a single jurisdiction and an exhibitor or sponsor. Participants will receive a QuickConnect schedule after registration and should bring it with them to know which meetings to attend.

Driving mDL Adoption: Lessons Learned, Relying Party Engagement, and Growth Strategies

The road to mDL adoption has plenty of twists, turns, and lessons learned.  Each jurisdiction faces different implementation considerations, relying party engagement needs, and opportunities for growth. This session will bring together real world jurisdictional experiences to explore what is working, what challenges remain, and how outreach strategies are helping move mDL from implementation to broader adoption. Discussion will include lessons learned, emerging adoption trends, and the role of the Digital Trust Service (DTS) in supporting a trusted, scalable mDL ecosystem.

DMV Data and Law Enforcement: Access, Compliance, and the Road Ahead

DMV data is essential for law enforcement — but sharing it comes with real compliance and political pressures. This session examines how law enforcement can access the data they need while DMVs stay within legal bounds, including updates from Nlets, a status report from the Nlets working group, and a panel discussion with law enforcement, DMV staff, and Nlets representatives on the thorniest challenges, including license plate reader data.

Operating a CDL Program in Today's Regulatory Environment

A working guide for State CDL Program staff to non-domiciled licensing, English proficiency enforcement, Clearinghouse integration, and the compliance obligations reshaping issuance in 2025–2026.

Electronic Titling: Building Interoperable, Secure, and Scalable Title Systems

Electronic titling is transforming how states manage vehicle titles — but technology alone isn’t enough. This session explores how jurisdictional collaboration, shared vision, and strategic alignment unlock the full value of electronic titling for agencies, industry partners, and customers. Attendees get an overview of the electronic titling ecosystem, updates on AAMVA’s solution and other interstate initiatives, and real-world insights from motor vehicle agencies on the challenges, lessons learned, and approaches to building scalable, interoperable systems.
