CONCURRENT SESSIONS

Retain, Engage, Thrive: Low-Cost Strategies for a Stronger Employee Experience

The best retention tools are often free. This session gives MVA leaders practical strategies they can put to work right away, from recognition practices and communication habits to culture shifts and management approaches that build engagement and reduce turnover.

Beyond the Speed Limit: How ISA Is Reshaping Driver Safety and Jurisdictional Policy

Speed is a leading factor in traffic fatalities and Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) technology is changing how jurisdictions respond. This session covers progress from AAMVA’s ISA Working Group, recent state legislative activity, and emerging implementation approaches, including how ISA programs are managed when drivers cross jurisdictional lines.

Take the Long Way Home: Credential Design with Relying Parties in Mind

While the evolution of identity credentialing has improved usability, interoperability, and security, most of it has been reactive rather than proactive. Join our speakers as they explore what it means to take the long way home when it comes to credential design and verification. This session covers how issuing authorities can step back and design better credentials with relying parties in mind, and ensure the training exists to make authentication features effective. You'll also hear identity verification from the relying party's perspective, with detection techniques and lessons learned from the field.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Vehicles: ADAS Alteration and Stakeholder Impact as AV Adoption Expands

Join us for this two-part program. We will first delve into the rapidly changing world of Advanced Driver Assistance Technology and learn how aftermarket ADAS modifications are causing concerns for roadway safety. We will then move to a discussion on fully automated vehicle deployment that has raised questions from stakeholders as to what the impact may be on the labor force.
