The AAMVA Annual Membership Meeting was held Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in Providence, Rhode Island, in conjunction with AAMVA’s Annual International Conference (AIC). At this meeting, AAMVA’s state membership adopted three new policies: Data Stored Within or Generated by Motor Vehicle Systems and Availability for Law Enforcement, Use of Photos, and VIN Not Considered to be Personally Identifiable Information.   Read more here.
